MALENE BIRGER | MOVE AND ART
Malene Birger (born 1962 in Copenhagen) is a Danish designer whose creative path has spanned fashion, interior design, art, jewelry, and more. After studying at the Danish Design School (1989) and working for brands like Carli Gry and Marc O’Polo, she co-founded Day Birger et Mikkelsen in 1997.
In 2003, she launched her own label By Malene Birger, which she led until around 2014. Since then, Birger has expanded her focus to interiors, art, ceramics, and jewelry. Her creative brand, The World of Malene Birger, brings together her design consultancy, art projects, and architectural exploration.
She lives in Mallorca (Spain), working from her studio and renovating homes across Europe. Her design ethos often fuses minimalism, monochrome expression, and thoughtful layering of art and materials.

Move & Art is the third coffee table book by Malene Birger, published in 2022.
In this voluminous work (256 pages, ~180 color & black/white photos), Birger reveals her interior design philosophy through a visual journey across homes in London, Italy, Greece, and Spain.
The book includes striking before-and-after layouts, her own artworks and jewelry designs, and the story of a townhouse reboot in Felanitx (Majorca).
It’s a visual and emotional narrative: from blank canvases to lived spaces, blending craftsmanship, materiality, travel, and personal expression.
Move & Art appeals to interior lovers, art collectors, and anyone inspired by the harmony of home and life.

RICHARD FISCHER: FLORAL
When the days grow shorter and nature retreats, Floral brings the eternal beauty of spring and summer back to life. Created by acclaimed photographer Richard Fischer, this book captures flowers at their most perfect moment — a celebration of color, form, and fragility. Each image is a masterpiece of light and detail, transforming the fleeting life of a blossom into timeless art.
Fischer’s work, often compared to that of the great Dutch still-life painters, reveals the soul of each flower with breathtaking precision. In Floral, he invites us to preserve the grace of nature long after the petals have fallen — a reminder that beauty, once captured, never truly fades.
As winter settles in, this book becomes more than a collection of images; it’s a window to the warmth and poetry of the seasons we long for. A perfect companion for the colder months, Floral brings serenity, inspiration, and a sense of life’s quiet wonder into any home.
GEORG BASELITZ | CONTEMPORARY BRUSH
Georg Baselitz (born 1938) is one of the most influential and provocative figures in postwar and contemporary art. Known for his bold brushwork, raw expression, and the radical decision to paint his subjects upside down, Baselitz has continuously challenged how we see and interpret art. His work often blurs the line between figuration and abstraction, inviting viewers to experience emotion, energy, and form beyond traditional representation.
Emerging in Germany during a period of cultural upheaval, Baselitz’s art reflects both personal history and collective memory. His paintings, drawings, and sculptures often carry echoes of German identity, folklore, and postwar reflection, yet are expressed with a strikingly modern and universal power. The upside-down figures, distorted landscapes, and expressive palettes have become his unmistakable signature, making his work instantly recognizable across the world.
Today, Baselitz is celebrated as a pioneer who redefined painting in the 20th and 21st centuries. His works hang in the most prestigious museums and collections, and he remains a central figure in discussions of contemporary art. To encounter a painting by Baselitz is to confront intensity, vulnerability, and innovation – all at once.
Dive into the radical world of Georg Baselitz, the artist who turned painting on its head — literally. This updated XXL monograph features over 400 works spanning six decades, from raw existential figures to bold upside-down canvases and rough-hewn wooden sculptures. Rich essays, interviews, and breathtaking large-format reproductions reveal why Baselitz remains one of the most daring and influential figures in contemporary art. A must-have collector’s edition for every art lover.
